Download Cartography, Orthophoto or LIDAR Download Aerial Photos
If you want to download cartography, orthophotos, LIDAR data or aerial photos of Gipuzkoa, click on one of the buttons above.
To download the data, there are three types of grids:
-
5x5 kilometre grid for downloading orthophotos, topographic base, altimetric base and BTA data. Here is the map of that grid in PDF format (4.0 MB).
-
1x1 kilometre grid for downloading LIDAR data and Mobile mapping. Here is the map of that grid in PDF format (14.7 MB).
-
Grid of the historical maps at 1:5,000 scale for downloading historical maps and orthophotomaps. Here is the map of that grid in PDF format (5.4 MB).
These are these types of downloads available:
1. Orthophotos
2. Topographic base
3. Altimetric base
4. BTA
5. LIDAR
6. Mobile mapping
7. Maps 1:5,000
8. Orthophotomaps 1:5,000
9. Aerial photos

D: download file format (ZIP).
The spatial reference system of the data is ETRS89 UTM30N (EPSG:25830).
The details of each orthophoto can be seen in the metadata link. If the metadata does not belong to the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, you will be directed to the general website of the institution concerned.
2. Topographic base
The topographic base of the cartography of Gipuzkoa is available in a 5x5 km grid and in DXF format.

C: download file format (ZIP).
The spatial reference system of the data is ETRS89 UTM30N (EPSG:25830).
All available files are in this link.
The details of each file can be seen in the metadata link.
3. Altimetric base
As in the previous section, the altimetric base of the cartography of Gipuzkoa is available in a 5x5 km grid and in DXF format. This altimetric base is found in three dimensions; with x, y z coordinates.

All available files are in this link.
The details of each file can be seen in the metadata link.
4. BTA
Through the BTA format you have another way to access to the cartography of Gipuzkoa. The acronym BTA corresponds to the Harmonised Topographic Base (Base Topográfica Armonizada) developed by the Higher Geographic Council of the Government of Spain (Consejo Superior Geográfico). In this link you will find more information about that format.
The description of the files is as follows:

The spatial reference system of the data is ETRS89 UTM30N (EPSG:25830).
All available files are in this link.
The details of each file can be seen in the metadata link.
5. LIDAR
LIDAR altimetry and bathymetry data is available. In the case of altimetry, the data is from the following years: 2005, 2008, 2012 and 2017. In the case of bathymetry, the data is from 2008.
